NAACP New York Freedom School

Registration remains open through April 16th, and we still have slots available for students. We encourage everyone to register and to continue sharing this opportunity with young people and families in your communities.

Please note the following important details:

Program Start Date: Saturday, April 18th

Time: 9:45 AM – 2:30 PM

Location: Medgar Evers College

This is a free program, and students will be provided with breakfast and snacks each Saturday.

In addition to the student program, there is also an Advocacy Training for parents, caretakers, and community members offered at the same time. This is an opportunity to engage the entire family and community in building civic knowledge, leadership, and power together.

Freedom School is part of our broader commitment to developing the next generation of leaders while strengthening the civic capacity of our communities across New York State.
